South Africa issues last call for comments on biodiversity plans

Government welcomes public interest in proposals around conservation, ecotourism and biomanufacturing

With less than two weeks left for the public to comment on South Africa’s draft National Biodiversity Economy Strategy, South Africa’s environment minister has invited government officials, community leaders and businesses to engage with the document.

Barbara Creecy issued the invitation while opening the Biodiversity Economy and Investment Indaba in Gauteng on 25 March, where she said discussions would include how to achieve the goals of the strategy.
