Small co-payments vital for ability to forge international partnerships, says science department

South Africa’s science budget cuts could hamper the country’s international research partnerships going forward, the country’s Department of Science and Innovation has said.

The warning comes in the DSI’s 218-page performance plan for 2024-25, outlining the department’s priorities and performance goals for the current financial year.
