Commission pledges more action on assessment reform

EU institution releases action plan to support Agreement on Reforming Research Assessment

The European Commission has pledged more action to reform the way research is assessed across the EU.

On 29 April, the Commission released an action plan for how it will implement the Agreement on Reforming Research Assessment, which it coordinated in 2022. Over the past two years, the agreement has racked up 723 signatories who pledge to make assessment fairer, including the Commission.
