Another Norwegian minister resigns over plagiarism

Ingvild Kjerkol is second member of Norwegian government to resign over content of degree thesis

Ingvild Kjerkol has resigned her post as Norway’s health minister after the university that awarded her master’s degree found that she deliberately plagiarised parts of the thesis from other sources without attribution. It has cancelled the degree.

Kierkol has pushed back against elements of the findings, but said she is considering whether to appeal.
