Agreement on EU R&D programme close, as German minister warns countries must also invest
Just one more formal three-way talk among the EU institutions should be enough to reach an agreement on the remaining parts of the legislation for the bloc’s 2021-27 R&D programme, Horizon Europe, a representative of national governments has said.
“I hope one last political trilogue will be sufficient in order to arrive at a good compromise on all the outstanding issues,” the German research minister, Anja Karliczek, told other EU research ministers in the Council of the EU on 27 November.
