Peers launch inquiry into UK’s future skills needs

Short inquiry will hear evidence from former ministers Robert Halfon and Charles Clarke

The House of Lords Industry and Regulators Committee has launched a short inquiry into the UK’s future skills needs.

Peers will hear evidence on 23 April from former higher education minister Robert Halfon, who last month resigned from his position in prime minister Rishi Sunak’s government. He is one of several ministers to have quit in recent months.
