After missing its usual spring round due to the coronavirus pandemic, Diabetes UK has opened its Early-Career Small Grants after a year-long break, with a 1 December deadline for applications.

The scheme is a unique opportunity for basic researchers looking to establish themselves in diabetes research to lead their own project.
