The Wellcome Trust and Royal Society’s Sir Henry Dale Fellowships, which aim to put promising biomedical researchers on a path to an independent career, are open to applications once again. The deadline is 3 December. Ahead of this we have dug out our interview with Claire Bourke, who was six months into her fellowship when we spoke to her in January 2018. She explains the crucial role that her university’s internal peer-review process had in her win.
