A strong lay summary is essential for consideration by Muscular Dystrophy UK

Muscular Dystrophy UK’s annual research grant competition opened on 2 November, with a deadline on 25 January 2022. As in previous years, the charity will be open to both PhD studentships and project grants, which can include grants of up to three years’ duration and proof-of-principle or pilot studies lasting up to one year.

For longer projects, the charity will cover any combination of salary and consumables up to a maximum of £75,000 per year, while for pilot projects the funding cap is £30,000.
