Bids to a call from an ESRC-funded hub must consider overarching digital security goals
Top tips:
- Interdisciplinary bids are favoured
- Applicants should show a willingness to tackle difficult questions using novel methodologies
- The hub is keen to encourage those who have not worked in the cyber security space before
- Applicants should demonstrate an understanding of the wider Digital Security by Design challenge and its aims
The Digital Security by Design Social Science (known as Discribe) Hub+ was established in September 2020 with funding from the Economic and Social Research Council. It is a consortium of four institutions—the Universities of Bath, Bristol and Cardiff, and Royal Holloway University of London—involving researchers from the social sciences, economics, business and management, computer science, and arts and humanities.
