The Switzerland-based Rising Tide Foundation is not an average cancer funder. It supports clinical cancer research with a strong focus on trials that can rapidly improve the lives of patients and help them better understand their treatment options. So far so normal, but the foundation prefers not to be the sole funder of research projects and says it never provides 100 per cent of support for any given project.
