In 2020 a medical industry fellowship scheme backed by A$32 million from the Australian government launched. Previously profiled by Funding Insight, the Researcher Exchange and Development within Industry (Redi) programme has awarded the first of 40 fellowships available under the scheme, which chimes with current messaging from the Australian government about encouraging links between universities and the business world.
