New Zealand’s Health Research Council offers career development awards to sharpen research skills among clinicians
For New Zealand health professionals looking to expand into research, the Health Research Council’s career development awards are something of a one-stop shop, offering a plethora of options for people across career stages.
“Training up our clinical workforce is a key component of health research and carving out time for these clinicians to be able to advance their research careers alongside their actual clinical careers is really important,” says Lucy Pomeroy, head of research investments and contracts at the HRC. “We’re trying to grow that whole pipeline of the workforce.”
