With a total of £45 million available for successful applicants, the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) has launched a call for HealthTech Research Centres (HRCs). Each centre will aim to catalyse the development and adoption within the NHS of health-tech innovations, which may include medical devices, diagnostics and artificial intelligence.
