Minister details how regulator should deliver latest tranche of student hardship funding
Universities minister Michelle Donelan has told the Office for Students how it should distribute an extra £15 million in student hardship funding this academic year.
In a letter to OfS chair James Wharton, Donelan explained that the £15 million should be “targeted towards those providers who recruit and support high numbers of disadvantaged students”, as it reflected “where this funding is needed most to enable students to continue with their courses and achieve successful outcomes”.
