Regulator reveals £2 million scheme to fund short courses at universities

A trial that will fund short courses in higher education will be launched next month by the Office for Students.

The regulator said the ‘challenge competition’ would fund “innovative projects delivering short courses in higher education” as part of the government’s pledge to provide a life-long loan entitlement to allow workers to reskill.
