OfS tackling ‘significant risks’ from increasing demands

Chief executive reveals concerns over pressure on regulator and efforts to prioritise activities

The chief executive of the Office for Students has said she is “managing some significant risks”, some of which relate to escalating demands on the group, which is charged with the task of regulating higher education.

In a report for an OfS board meeting that took place on 13 July, chief executive Nicola Dandridge wrote that although the overall level of risk facing the regulator was “relatively stable” it was “managing some significant risks”.
