Revised date and consultation responses will be revealed in June
The Research Excellence Framework team has promised to pick a revised deadline for REF 2021 next month, stressing it is still considering a submission date in March next year.
In an update on 29 May, the REF team said it was “continuing to explore a revised submission deadline in March 2021” after receiving almost 650 responses to its consultation on dates for a new deadline. The consultation ran from 21 April to 5 May.
