Government survey shows drop in employers who feel graduates are ready for their first job

Graduates are marginally less prepared for the world of work now than they were four years ago, according to a government survey of employers in England.

In the Employer Skills Survey 2019, published by the Department for Education on 14 October, 78 per cent of employers in England said university leavers were very well or well prepared for work when they started their first job.
