LEO data shows real-terms earnings decreases despite nominal growth
PhD and master’s graduates saw their real-terms earnings drop or stagnate in nearly all graduating cohorts over four years, according to the latest Longitudinal Educational Outcomes data.
The Department for Education’s LEO data on postgraduate destination reveals that doctoral graduates saw their earnings fall in real-terms at three, five and 10 years after graduation across a four year period from 2014-15 to 2017-18.
