Flexible student loans pitched in FE white paper

Change in the law would see students take out loans to study modules by 2025

Students will be able to access loans for short or modular courses as part of the government’s plan to champion further education and squash the “illusion that a degree is the only route to success”. 

Proposals to “supercharge” further and technical education were set out in the Skills for Jobs white paper, published by the Department for Education on 21 January.
