Donelan: Turing is for students across the UK

Minister tells conference that Turing scheme will be available to students in all UK countries

Michelle Donelan has stressed that the £110 million Turing scheme is “accessible to everyone” across the UK, despite attempts in Scotland and Wales to re-join Erasmus+ and start alternative mobility schemes.

The universities minister told the British Council’s Going Global conference on 15 June that the government had “designed the [Turing] scheme for everyone” in order to support its “agenda of levelling up across the entire UK”.
