Students ‘could be barred from lectures without full vaccination’

Prime minister reportedly considering U-turn on “no restrictions” for unvaccinated students

Plans to ban students from lecture halls unless they are fully vaccinated are reportedly being explored by prime minister Boris Johnson.

Students who have not had two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine could be barred from attending in-person lectures or living in university halls of residence, as Johnson has been “raging” about the low vaccine take-up among younger people, The Times reported on 26 July.
