Layla Moran encourages party to support UK membership of EU student exchange programme
Liberal Democrats at next week’s party conference will be asked to vote on a motion pushing the UK to rejoin the European Union’s student exchange programme, Erasmus Plus.
The UK lost access to the scheme after Brexit, and the government declined to negotiate a deal with the EU to gain access as a non-member country.
