A Hepi report models possible tweaks to England’s student loan system

When the Playbook rota comes round for the week, whoever draws Thursday knows there is a good chance they will be reporting on a release from the Higher Education Policy Institute. Today, happily, is one of those Hepi days.

It’s not that there is a shortage of angles elsewhere to choose from. Today, we could have looked at the news about the government contract for the research company Public First, which has ties to many higher education aficionados. Or we could have given more time to the ridiculous saga about students taking down a photo and somehow becoming front-page news in The Times.
