The latest Hesa data show that old problems persist
Yesterday, the Higher Education Statistics Agency published the latest batch of data from the Graduate Outcomes survey, comprising a number of charts breaking down responses by provider, subject, occupation and salary levels. It puts some meat on the bones of last week’s initial survey results from Hesa.
If you are wondering why we always look at such data sets the day after publication, it comes down to their status as “official statistics”. They cannot be sent out to anyone earlier than their official release time (in this case, 9.30am), which is not always in line with Playbook’s schedule.
