Is vaccination certification on the cards for universities?
Playbook has been wondering out loud for several weeks whether the government’s lack of planning for the return of university students to campuses in the autumn will mean that Covid passports end up becoming a necessary addition to the new academic year. That seems to be what is set to happen in England.
“University students will have to be fully vaccinated to attend lectures or stay in halls of residence under plans being pushed by Boris Johnson,” The Times reported on its front page yesterday. Fiona McIntyre has been pursuing the story.
