Graduate outcomes for the first Covid cohort are published

Statistics on what happened to the cohort of students who graduated in the first year of Covid were published yesterday—and it was as if the pandemic had never happened.

According to the latest Graduate Outcomes survey, published by the Higher Education Statistics Agency and covering students who graduated in 2020, the percentage of full-time undergraduate students in full-time employment 15 months after graduating increased from 53 per cent in last year’s survey to 55 per cent this year, while the proportion classed as unemployed fell.
