It’s back to work after the first day of UCU industrial action
So, how was it for you? Did the ground shake with the noise of whistles and drums, or did you not notice very much at all?
Yesterday was day one of 18 planned walkouts in February and March at 150 universities by members of the University and College Union. The UCU higher education action coincided with a day of strikes across the public sector, including an estimated 200,000 schoolteachers.
