The Office for Students is allocating almost £10 million to performing arts courses
This morning brings an announcement from the Office for Students that it is to allocate £9.6 million to improving teaching and access on performing arts courses at specialist higher education providers across England. The OfS is distributing the money to 15 specialist providers for the academic years 2022-23 to 2026-27.
After years of listening to government ‘science superpower’ rhetoric, are the arts finally having their day in the sun? Hardly.
