Universities have ‘important role’ to play in student sexual health

                 

Survey suggests majority of students are not testing for STIs

More than half of sexually active students say they have never had a test for a sexually transmitted infection, with only 30 per cent having had a test while at university, polling has suggested. 

According to a report published by the Higher Education Policy Institute on 22 July, 56 per cent of sexually active students have never had a test for an STI.
