Future African health research leaders named

Winners will spend two years in the US before returning to the continent

United States and African funders announced the next cohort of Africa’s future “health research leaders” on 14 April.

The African Postdoctoral Training Initiative places African researchers at prestigious research institutes of the National Institutes of Health in the US. Most will work at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
