Next phase for giant radio telescope project on track after Covid-19 delays

Senior Square Kilometre Array officials say that the start of construction on the giant radio telescope in South Africa and Australia is imminent.

The telescope, which will be made up of hundreds of collection dishes and antennae spanning two continents, was due to start taking shape at the end of last year, but was delayed because of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
