Kenyan primate lab first in Africa to bag good grants practice certification

Audit ‘identified areas of weakness’ and helped lab improve

The Institute of Primate Research in Nairobi, Kenya, has become the first research body in Africa to receive a certification for good research grant management. 

The Good Financial Grant Practice certification was developed by the African Academy of Sciences’ Global Grant Community, a financial platform that connects funders with grantees.
