Term extended at least four months after summit fails to find replacement
Sarah Anyang Agbor from Cameroon will stay on as the African Union’s commissioner for science and technology for at least four more months.
The AU’s complicated regional representation requirements among commissioners meant a suitable replacement for Agbor could not be found during the AU Summit on 6 and 7 February.
