Kenyan president says funding will boost evidence-based programming
The president of Kenya has promised dedicated annual funding for gender-based violence research in the country.
“We will invest US$1 million every year for GBV research and innovation to boost evidence-based programming by 2026,” Uhuru Kenyatta told the Generation Equality Forum in France on 1 July.
