Fourteen projects finally launch in the second round of Deltas Africa after two-year wait
More than a dozen African health research projects officially got off the ground this week after more than 24 months in limbo.
The 14 projects are winners in the second round of the Developing Excellence in Leadership, Training and Science Africa programme, or Deltas Africa—an initiative funded by the Wellcome Trust, a UK-based biomedical research funder, and the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
