Meeting hopes to generate funds for education in developing countries
Kenya and the United Kingdom will hold a joint education summit next year to address the interruptions to learning caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
The summit was announced on 12 October in a statement by the leaders of the two countries, Uhuru Kenyatta and Boris Johnson. While Kenya is listed as a co-host, the event itself will take place in the UK in mid-2021.
