SA rural biodiversity grant targets conservation and jobs

The investment will be climate smart, says World Bank

South African organisations are to receive US$8.9 million from the World Bank to boost the biodiversity economy in rural areas.

The bank approved the Catalysing Financing and Capacity for the Biodiversity Economy Around Protected Areas project on 8 July.
