Three-year project to develop catalysts for aviation industry

South Africa and Germany unveiled a partnership this week to carry out research into sustainable jet fuels.

The partnership between South Africa’s state-owned oil and gas company Sasol and Germany’s Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin research institute will aim to develop new types of catalysts that could help decarbonise the aviation industry.
