Namibia champions research-industry collaborations

Sarima 2022: NUST says projects will provide much-needed skills development

Long-term and open-ended collaborations between industry, the public sector and higher education institutions across Southern Africa have been called for by the director of research, innovation and partnerships at the Namibia University of Science and Technology.

Anna Matros-Goreses, who is also vice-president for research management at the Southern African Research and Innovation Management Association, said such collaborations will provide a platform for partnerships. She was speaking on the sidelines of the Sarima conference in Johannesburg, South Africa, this week.
