The National Research Foundation’s controversial rating system aligns with bibliometric research performance, but this does not mean that it is wholly fair, a paper has found.
The paper by Steven Johnson of the Centre for Functional Biodiversity of the University of KwaZulu-Natal, appeared in the South African Journal of Science on 21 September.
