HIV vaccine expert appointed to role for five years
Lynn Morris, one of South Africa’s foremost HIV vaccinologists, took up the position of deputy vice-chancellor of research at the University of the Witwatersrand on 1 April.
Morris takes up the post at the Johannesburg-based university after serving a three-year stint as interim executive director of the National Institute for Communicable Diseases.
