Shadrack Moephuli says council board decided to make third term his last

The president and chief executive of South Africa’s Agricultural Research Council will step down on 31 July after 15 years in the post.

The ARC announced Shadrack Moephuli’s departure on 2 June. It said he “will leave the organisation when his third term of office at the helm of the ARC comes to an end”. The council praised his “staunch commitment, invaluable contribution and dedication”.
