Higher education minister admits more training and resources are needed

Some South African universities don’t have the resources to clamp down on gender-based violence, the minister of higher education has admitted.

Blade Nzimande made the written admission in response to a 15 September question by Siphosethu Ngcobo, an Inkatha Freedom Party MP on the portfolio committee on higher education, science and technology.
