Platform aims to boost country’s contribution to African and global science agendas

South Africa has launched a science diplomacy initiative to nurture solidarity through science-based collaboration across the African continent and the world.

The Department of Science and Innovation and the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research launched the Science Diplomacy Capital for Africa on 8 July in the city of Tshwane (Pretoria), which will also be the hub of the initiative.
