Australian faculty leaders say their disciplines have been singled out and disadvantaged

Deans of social sciences and humanities in Australia have joined the widespread condemnation of the vetoing of six Australian Research Council grants.

On 19 January, the Australasian Council of Deans of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities issued a statement saying that the veto of ARC grants seemed to single out their disciplines.
