Indigenous health wins NHMRC trials funding

Almost one-third of A$75 million goes to trials and studies aimed at Indigenous health

Just over A$75 million has been allocated to 33 clinical trials and studies in the latest round of the National Health and Medical Research Council’s grants programme.

The council said the round was notable for the number of projects working on the health of Indigenous Australians: almost a third of the funding went to these projects.
