Indigenous and international partnerships win Linkage funding

Australian Research Council announces A$29 million for topics including crocodile farming

Work on improved crocodile farming techniques, cleaner iron-making and low-cost solar cells has been funded in the latest round of Australian Research Council Linkage Projects.

The ARC announced A$29 million for university-industry joint projects on 24 August, saying that the winners would bring in around another A$59m in “cash and in-kind support from 200 partner organisations”. The 61 grants will each run for up to five years.
