Pre-election manifesto calls for a research translation fund to help pull together “broken system”

Science and Technology Australia has called for a A$2.4 billion research translation fund to be established.

In an early bid for a focus on science and technology in the next election, STA said it wanted the “broken system” of insecure work tied to research grants to be tackled, and a government-wide plan to coordinate R&D to be created.
